Mortgage Servicing Specialist I

Responsible for the preparation of periodic loan accounting reports, loan payment processing and administration; reconciliation; administration of insurances, mortgage insurance escrow analysis, commercial escrow analysis, and 1098 reporting.
|Duties:||•Maintain mortgage information including payment postings, import new loans, update member information, process payoffs, curtailments, monthly billing statements, adjustments, account research, etc.|
•Resolve issues and respond to phone calls, process emails, and secured messages received from members, our call centers, branches or other departments in a timely manner.
•Monitor and complete all assigned reports intended to achieve department goals and reporting requirements.
•Prepare routine letters to members.
•Maintain a current knowledge of Mortgage Servicing Laws and Regulations, as well as Coastal and departmental policies, procedures, and products.
|Qualifications:||•Related two-year college degree or three years of similar work experience in mortgage servicing.|
•Excellent communication skills.
